2016 Hopman Cup
The Hopman Cup XXVIII will be the 28th edition of the Hopman Cup tournament between nations in men's and women's tennis. The tournament will commence on the 3rd of January 2016 at the Perth Arena in Perth, Australia.
Eight teams will compete for the title, with two round robin groups of four, from which the top team of each group will advance to the Final. For the first time, there will be two Australian teams: Australia Gold, and Australia Green. As of September 2015 it has been confirmed that Lleyton Hewitt and Casey Dellacqua will represent Australia Gold, while Andy Murray and Heather Watson will once again represent Great Britain.
On October 7, the French and Ukrainian teams were announced.
Poland were the 2015 champions. In that tournament's final the Poland team of Agnieszka Radwańska and Jerzy Janowicz defeated the United States team of Serena Williams and John Isner 2–1. They will not return to defend their title in 2016.
